Famous People in Brazil

As all famous countries Brazil has its famous people. Of course everybody knows that this is a country of football, beautiful carnivals and hot samba. Here is a list of some people who glorified the country.

Pele

The first and the most famous is the footballer – Pele. Edson Arantes do Nascimento is a living legend and the main competitor to Maradona. He was born in 1940 and three times won the World Cup. While he spent 90 games he scored 77 goals and that’s only for the National team. He is the best footballer of the XX century according to FIFA. On October 1, 1977 he got another champion’s title in the USA, at the same country he played his last match and said:” I’m happy to be with you in this grand moment of my life, I believe that love is the most important thing in our lives. If you believe so repeat this word after me.” Pele is not only a champion; he is a hero who inspires millions of people to love and play as he did.

Vera Fisher

Not counting that she is far behind the young age – Vera Fisher is still the sex symbol of Brazil. She is talented and beautiful, a very few number of women in Brazil can compete with her. And she, herself tries to emphasize it by Playboy shootings and countless erotic photos. Moreover, she is a real hard-working woman. It is a very rare case to see her without work. Her best work is “Cats on the red-hot roof” by Tennessee Williams.

Raul Cortes

Raul Cortes is said to be the best actor in the country. Bright talent of an actor, charisma and Brazilian temper are wonderfully mixed in Raul. Every TV show or theatrical performance has a full-house if he is in the actor’s list. Raul took part in 66 performances and movie series and 6 films. He is very popular in his Brazil and post-soviet countries. And till today he is one of the most wanted men in Brazil and in the world.

Max Cavalera

But Brazil is not only famous for its movie world, the most famous rock player Max Cavalera. He is a Brazilian vocalist and guitar player. He was born in 1969 in Belu-Orizonti. Since his childhood he was a great fan of hard-music like AC/DC, Iron Maiden etc. When he grew up he founded Sepultura, Nailbomb, Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly which are still very famous. Cavalera’s concerts gather millions of people, and are awaited in every part of the world.

Another great footballer that shook the world is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira more commonly known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho. He is a holder of the “Golden Ball” and he is the best footballer of the 2004 – 2005 according to FIFA. He is a current captain of the National team, and Barcelona.

Taken into account all these people are a very little number of Brazilian famous people. According to the size of the country and the temper of the people Brazil will surprise us with countless beautiful girls, brave men and wonderful football players.
